Welcome to Fantom Island, where iLL-Literacy's legend finds its habitat. If you've happened upon this portal, may we be as bold as to assert that nested in you is a healthy curiosity. Whether you were drawn here by the Slanted i at this page's 1-o-clock, the quick flash of during loading, or simply because you have a click-happy finger – you've arrived. HihowRUhi?

The peculiar thing about Fantom Island is that it is but a mirage – an Imaginary oasis isolated in the confines of our brainwaves. We shall gradually reveal morsels of our folklore here, so please visit often. To return, simply bring your Imagination as your passport.

Fantom Island

Our obligatory SXSW debrief

Our time at SXSW was absolutely crazy!  We are juiced to have been able to rock a show, experience one of the most massive music events in the country, even spend a horrendous amount of money on bad and expensive pizza!  Much love to all the iLL-homies that we connected with, both new and known (ready for hella pings??): Blue Scholars, Bambu, Kiwi, DJ Phatrick, Janelle Monae & Wondaland Arts Society, Zion I, Keelay & Zaire, U-N-I, Blu, 88-Keys, Kid Cudi, Mickey Factz, Bobby Ray a.k.a. B.o.B., The Park, eskay of Nah Right, TC of The Smoking Section, Hi-Tek, Hollis of Canary Sing, Res, DJ Hyphen, Trackademicks & Honor Roll, Invincible, and all y’all dope individuals who are just as important if not more, but remain linkless.

We didn’t get a chance to take many pictures, but we did manage to grab some footage of our escapades with a bunch of the folks above and that’ll be coming soon.  In the meantime, we’re held down by Zoneil Maharaj of Oh Dang! Magazine, who kicked it hard with us all week along with Ariel Zambelich, and they have some cleeeeeeeeaaaaan photos of SXSW and all its glory here and here.

Thanks Austin, see you next year better faster stronger harder!
