Welcome to Fantom Island, where iLL-Literacy's legend finds its habitat. If you've happened upon this portal, may we be as bold as to assert that nested in you is a healthy curiosity. Whether you were drawn here by the Slanted i at this page's 1-o-clock, the quick flash of during loading, or simply because you have a click-happy finger – you've arrived. HihowRUhi?

The peculiar thing about Fantom Island is that it is but a mirage – an Imaginary oasis isolated in the confines of our brainwaves. We shall gradually reveal morsels of our folklore here, so please visit often. To return, simply bring your Imagination as your passport.

Celebrating the People's Inauguration & a year of Obama virals

Today MVMT will facilitate a multitude of motivated individuals to convene at NYC’s The Greene Space to observe The People’s Inauguration, a call to action for people to build with their personal communities.  Simple&plain, simple&plain.  The intention for this momentous occasion is based on the understanding that, regardless of your views toward our current political situation, everyone can understand that we’d like to see improvement among those around us. The night will feature poetry by Kahlil Almustafa, and include speakers such as Rosa Clemente (’08 Green Party Vice-Presidential candidate), Cindy Sheehan (author of Not One More Mother’s Child), and Michael Skolnik (political director to Russell Simmons and editor for GlobalGrind.com).  Cop your tickets HERE.

You can also stream live at MVMT.com

And of course, it’s been a year since the inauguration of President Obama.  And though we’re in another war, health care is still a mess, the economy is still in the hole, and Taiwanese people are dying while watching Avatar (I TOLD you that crunchy shit’s bad for our health!) there’s one thing that we can all agree that has been FANTASTIC since Barack hit the scene…OBAMA VIRAL VIDEOS!!!  LET’S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!
