Celebrating the People's Inauguration & a year of Obama virals
Today MVMT will facilitate a multitude of motivated individuals to convene at NYC’s The Greene Space to observe The People’s Inauguration, a call to action for people to build with their personal communities. Simple&plain, simple&plain. The intention for this momentous occasion is based on the understanding that, regardless of your views toward our current political situation, everyone can understand that we’d like to see improvement among those around us. The night will feature poetry by Kahlil Almustafa, and include speakers such as Rosa Clemente (’08 Green Party Vice-Presidential candidate), Cindy Sheehan (author of Not One More Mother’s Child), and Michael Skolnik (political director to Russell Simmons and editor for GlobalGrind.com).
