When Michel Gondry released Be Kind, Rewind, his message was simple: anything they can make, you can make better.  Coming from the director of some of my favorite movies and music videos, this was a bold yet inspiring statement — at the same time, it’s become one of the central themes behind the iLL-Lit process.  Gondry may be one of the first interactive directors, not only by making his special effects in such a DIY-style that it almost invites the viewer to make it themselves, but by leaving hints for the true film geeks to decipher.

Admittedly, with our lack of budget and non-expertise in film, we had to get a bit creative with our first couple of videos and you will see them soon, my pretties, soon.  In the meantime, hit the jump for a MICHEL GONDRY EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!
