Yesterday, in order to avoid the online-obsessiveness that comes with RELEASING OUR VERY FIRST SINGLE EVER, I decided to hop on the train to visit Chinatown, my place of ultimate peace and contentment. Yes, that might seem ethnically predictable, but find me someone who doesn’t find peace and contentment where they make homemade dumplings and custard tarts, and I’ll show you someone with a hole in their soul (except those who can’t eat custard tarts because they’re lactose intolerant…in that case they just have a hole in their digestive system) (I’m lactose intolerant but no one can take me from the custard. NO ONE!) (Onward to the point…)

Nico and Dari joined me (poor poor Dahlak came back from Amsterdam with a terrible cough…I hear him snorting down the hallway right now, in fact), and we decided to pass through SoHo for the fantastic human view it offers.

The rest of iLL-Lit has been trying to capture me in awkward photographs to post on the blog, but the problem is that I’m the only one in the crew with a camera and time-tested blogging habits. So for now, victory belongs to THE DRIZZLETRON!

Resulting from watching Avatar and having a bad burger experience, Nico has been vegetarian for the past couple of months and has been missing those delicious BBQ pork buns. So we moseyed over to the vegetarian dim sum house, and brought tears of joy…to his stomach.

Here’s a picture of Nico trying to look hard, but instead just looking Southeast Asian. Not that Southeast Asians aren’t hard. But Nico is neither.

Now, I think I need to send you a reminderrrr about who the actual most trillllest of the crew is. If you’re still wondering, ask yourself who’s the only one down to carry a 25 lb. bag of rice from SoHo to Brooklyn.

I got that weight. Get on that Kool-Aid.
