So today was supposed to be a special day.  A MONUMENTAL day.  A TYRANNOSAURIC day!!

But alas, twas not.  You see, today, October 6, 2009, was supposed to be the day that the first Chapter to our first LP, iB4the1, was going to drop.  I’m realizing right this moment just how often I linked you guys to the iB4the1 page, and that the miiiiinor detail of our release date being delayed might not have been that minor.  But the basic situation is that we pushed our release date back a couple of months ago, moved across the country, ended up in the largest festival we’ve ever rocked, and I forgot to update the damned webpage.  So sollee.

But HARK!  I yield a great announcement!  We DO in fact have a new release date, the it’s even BETTER than our last release date (which was a few months after our original release date anywayssss) because it comes with more song leaks, crazy videos, and brainmelting artwork than ever before!!!  And best of all…November has more letters than October.  Booyah.

iLL-Literacy’s iB4the1.1‘s new release date: Tuesday, November 17, 2009.

You may have noticed that the title has also been tweaked a little bit.  It was in fact originally iB4the1:i, but then our sensei, the monster from Pan’s Labyrinth, said it was too confusing with so many i‘s in the name.

So that’s basically where we stand now.  We’re leaking another track next week featuring Passion.  Something a tiny bit less chaotic than “Gentleman’s Kool-Aid,” but still just as funky nonetheless, if I do say so myself.  So once again,

And it’ll be free-99.  Not because we didn’t put a bloody amount of work into it, but because music is a natural resource.  I PROMISE we’ll be doing a better job keeping you posted about our ongoings with the record from this point on.  And then maybe, just maybe, our site won’t just be filled with a bunch of trippy videos that haunt your childhood memories.
