And I know I’ve been plugging our first single “Gentleman’s Kool-Aid” every cottamn day, but humor me one last time (it’s not the last time) as this day we celebrate the birth of the father of Afrobeat/Afrofunk, Fela Kuti, who has been so significant to our artistry that his song “Gentleman” was the base inspiration for this first track that we’ve collectively produced, recorded, and released.
