This is probably the most sermon-ish Sunday Sermon I’ve ever posted. If you saw my last post, you would be aware that I am getting back into my acting roots. One actor that I enjoy watching and studying is the dynamic Al Pacino. I wonder if the words are as good on the page as they are when they come out of his mouth.
In this movie, he is the mayor of New York City in the middle of a scandal involving the shooting of a cop and a young boy. He attends the young boy’s funeral against the advice of his colleagues. He takes the opportunity to pledge to the community that he will strive to never allow this to happen again. After he finished his rousing speech, I said, “He’s got my vote”. Al Pacino for President!
No offense, Obama.
You’re pretty good too.
