I know this month’s Friday Funks have been leaning on the jazzier side, but what can I say?  Chaos in the wintertime = Jazz.  Hell yeah I just made that up, and it makes PERFECT sense to me.  Jaga Jazzist is a 10-piece Norwegian band, and besides being extremely talented at fitting everyone in one photo, they can also play a hell of a storm. Here’s “One-Armed Bandit,” the song that’s been getting me through the whirlwind that I’ve been grinding through while trapped in this NY snowstorm.
