Prometheus Brown (Blue Scholars) “Michelle Malkin”

February 10th, 2010 · Leave a Comment · Audio, This Racism is Killing me Inside, iLL-Homies

Not sure if it’s snowing in Seattle right now, but if it looks even remotely close to how it does here in BK, it makes sense why a man as busy as Prometheus Brown would feel so inclined to rummage through Fox News and his old Sade records simultaneously.  Glad he did though, as it results in a new piece of hotness in (dis)honor of our favorite talking head Michelle Malkin.  Oh, those eyes…those eyes.  Hey Michelle, what’s good with an internship???

FRIDAY FUNK PT. 2: Glenn Beck needs to listen to “The HereNow”

October 16th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Friday Funk, This Racism is Killing me Inside, Video

In basic terms, our song “The HereNow” is about living in the Present moment.  Enjoying the era.  Appreciating every instance we are blessed enough to experience.  What happens when you’re not in the HereNow?  You’re on Fox News wishing it was still the early 80′s, when people carried Word documents in 3″x5″ floppy disks and most Americans thought a Filipino was a kind of screwdriver tip (most Americans probably still think a Filipino is a kind of screwdriver tip (they’re not)).

“WHERE HAVE ALL THE SIMPLER TIMES GONE???” asks professional derriere, Glenn Beck.  You know, those days when I could be openly homophobic at the WWF Smackdown bleachers without Jake the Snake going Dink and Doink on me.  When I could buy Pepsi, except clear, except not 7-Up.  When I could eat my Oriental salads in peace without the Disgrasian girls laying the David Carradine on me.  Those simpler days.

Yes, it’s true.  Glenn Beck is in a funk.  A Friday Funk.  But worry not, Glenny-boy (sorry, that’s a horrible nickname…I’m rushing to finish this post so I can get to Fahamu‘s show).  This current era of change and innovation and oppressive economic institutions crumbling will soon be over.  We can soon go back to the good ol’ days from your pleasant past that you recall.  How do I know?  Because Glenn Beck told me so.

Just don’t give up.

ps: yo, i’m trying to hit up one of those “parties i’m not supposed to be at” TONIGHT!! sounds hella crackin.
